What is implantation bleeding and know its possible symptoms in this blog? Implantation bleeding refers to the light spotting a woman experiences when she conceives. This is often a very early sign of pregnancy. Not all women experience this bleeding, and some may not even notice it.
Implantation bleeding is not the same as regular menstrual bleeding; most women mixed up. This may be because this happens around the same time as your regular period.
What is Implantation bleeding?
When the egg fused with the sperm, the new cell proliferates while moving through the Fallopian tube. Because it changes forms as it enters the uterus, this cell cluster is referred to as an embryo. Here, the embryo attaches itself to the lining of the uterus and remains there for the next nine months, growing into a fetus.
When the embryo tries to squish into the uterine wall and attaches, tiny blood vessels in the uterine lining are damaged. As a result, implantation bleeding is released through the vagina. You will notice this light bleeding. However, this is nothing to be concerned about and is very typical.
Implantation bleeding is not long-lasting and occurs as spotting in most cases. It may last a few hours for some women and a few days in others. The color is not as dark and bright as your regular period. Know more about implantation bleeding here.
