A 6 weeks pregnant woman’s fetal size is about the size of a lentil at week 5.  When you perform an ultrasound scan, you will better understand the size of the fetus. From week 6 of pregnancy, the baby’s growth accelerates.

You will experience some major discomfort during this week. You may experience mild abdominal bloating; if it is accompanied by constant pain, you should consult the doctor.

Beginning in pregnancy week 6, your body begins to gain weight and retain more fluid, making your figure appear fuller. A six-week pregnant woman is still experiencing a variety of changes. Read on to learn more.

Symptoms experienced by a six weeks pregnant woman:

Symptoms are similar to the previous weeks, but the severity may increase weekly. You may feel slightly unpleasant symptoms, and they make you feel ill.

This is the period for most women to notice spots, so it is recommended to see your healthcare provider. This week, you may also notice a white-yellow vaginal discharge, which will continue until childbirth for some women. If you notice any change in its color or odor, you should consult the doctor.

An emotional carousel is a contradictory state of mind experienced by most of the 6 weeks, pregnant women. In this state, laughter and tears come one after the other and are very likely to happen with most mothers-to-be.

The severity of nausea and morning sickness will become more during this week. You may experience morning sickness and the sensation of an upset stomach for the whole day. If vomiting worsens, it is suggested to visit the doctor because too much fluid loss can cause damage to your baby.

The effect of these complications will be more in women who are overweight or women who become pregnant during their early ages.

Some pregnant women are at risk of constipation, so consuming enough fruits and vegetables is essential. Consuming a high-fiber diet can also help in reducing nausea and constipation.

Physical changes that occur in a 6 weeks pregnant woman:

You will notice a slight increase in your waist size, and your jeans may not fit you properly. Wearing comfortable clothes can help to avoid discomfort. Generally, pregnant women gain up to 5 pounds during the first trimester.

During pregnancy, the urge to urinate will increase, so wearing comfortable clothes can make you feel easy, particularly when you go out. The size of the uterus starts growing, and from this week onwards, some of your clothes will get tighter.

Here are a few tips to avoid discomfort during pregnancy:

  • Take plenty of rest
  • Avoid fatty foods
  • Drink lots of fluids
  • Eat smaller meals more frequently instead of taking large ones
  • Take regular prenatal vitamins
  • Don’t eat regular foods; focus on changing your diet and observe how you feel every time.
  • Focus on the positive aspects and remember that your mental state will influence the baby inside you
  • Don’t be on an empty or fuller stomach; either make nausea more severe. Changes in body

Fetal changes that occur in a 6 weeks pregnant woman:

At the start of week 6, the length of your baby is no greater than 2-4mm (0.08 – 0.16 inches) from the top of its head to its rump. The crown-rump dimension, rather than the crown-toe dimension, is used since your baby’s legs turn up towards the body in the uterus, making it hard to find an exact crown-toe measurement.

This week is the period for rapid cellular development for the baby-to-be, who looks like a mini tadpole. The baby’s eyes, mouth, and ears have already started development. The dark spots on the face will become eyes and nostrils, and the holes on the head will become ears.

The heart is another exciting development with your baby during pregnancy week 6. The heart starts beating to a normal beat, about 100-140 beats per minute, which is double that of an adult, but it is too faint to hear now.

The arm and leg buds look like teensy bumps at this period. The trunk and neck development starts this week. Blood circulation begins inside the baby’s body. Kegel exercises

The neural tube that connects the brain with the spinal cord will be closed by this weekend, and the cerebral development of the baby will start.

In 6 week pregnant woman, 40 blocks of tissues will develop along the middle line of the embryo. Later they will form conjunctive tissues, back and rib muscles, and also muscles at the sides. As muscle development starts this week, the baby will make the first move when you are 6 weeks pregnant. You may not notice the baby’s movements, but it begins the baby’s activity inside the uterus.

What care should be taken for a 6 weeks pregnant woman?

Try to decrease the stress levels as it can make the pregnancy symptoms even worse. Taking enough rest and thinking positively will help reduce symptoms, such as morning sickness, fatigue, back pain, headaches, neck pain, etc. So, it is essential to take time out for relaxation and medications.

Joining prenatal yoga classes will help a lot during pregnancy. Enjoy the pregnancy period and try to do the things you thought you might never do; before doing any activity, remember that a baby is growing inside you. Abortion
