Women are experiencing pelvic pain during pregnancy. Sometimes, the pain is so intense that they can’t sleep peacefully.
Causes of Pelvic aches
Pain in the pelvic region may be caused by stretching, abdominal muscles, pressure from round ligaments, loosening of the symphysis pubis joint, and other changes. Most pains and cramps come and go on their own, are occasional, and last only a short while.

Spouses with serious pelvic pain will need to sleep on their sides.

- Pillows between the knees help align the pelvis and reduce the pressure on the hips and pelvis while sleeping.
- You may place a suitable pillow under your belly if your back hurts. It helps in easing the movements of your pelvis and spine.
- You may wear a supporting abdominal band to help correct the alignment of the pelvis and alleviate pain.
- You may try sleeping in an inclined position to help you get comfortable.
