Know your cycle:

Women are more likely to become pregnant within a day or so of ovulating. Normally women ovulate two weeks after the first day of the period. Having sex during this period will increase the odds of becoming pregnant. Man’s sperm can live up to 7 days, whereas the egg can only live for 12-24 hours after they have been released.

Proper sex positions:

Some sex positions work better than others when you are trying to get pregnant. In order to fertilize with the egg, sperm need to swim all the way up to the fallopian tubes. So, choose the sex position that angle upwards.

Cut alcohol and smoking:

Stop alcohol consumption completely. Women who don’t drink are four time more likely to become pregnant than women who drink twice or thrice a week. Also, smoking can affect your fertility rate and may affect a woman’s chance to get pregnant. For men,smoking is linked with poor sperm quality.
