Hysterosalpingogram

This test gives the X-ray of the uterus and fallopian tubes. Before taking the X-ray, oil or water-based dye is injected into the fallopian tubes and uterus. The purpose of the dye is to recognize the problems in the organs on the X-ray. This test can be done to detect blockage problems.
